POLICE BOOTH
The police booth is located besides the entrance to the emergency ward. It was set up to look into the security aspect of HKL. It's crime prevention role include questioning suspicious characters lurking around HKL and identifying vehicles which have been parked in the HKL compound for an unreasonably long time.

The Police Car Patrol Unit from IPD Dang Wangi also include HKL in it's 24-hour round.

The services provided by the police booth include :-

  1. Receiving all sorts of complaints in the police booth (or in the ward);
  2. Tracing the next-of-kins of abandoned patients;
  3. Administering dead bodies to determining their identity and to trace their next-of-kins.
