INTRODUCTION / LATAR BELAKANG

Based on a review of hospitals new structure under MoH beginning in 2004, one special branch responsible for handling and managing the training of all of civil servants was established. Consequently, the Training Management Unit of Kuala Lumpur Hospital was officially established on 16 August 2004.

Penubuhan CPL setelah Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia membuat kajian dimana satu cawangan khas yang bertanggungjawab mengendalikan perkara-perkara berkaitan latihan bagi penjawat awam. Penubuhan Cawangan Pengurusan Latihan di HKL pada 16 Ogos 2004.

VISION / VISI

To become a Training Management Unit that is reliable, fair and transparent in terms of the opportunity to develop skill and competency level of all the staff in HKL.

Untuk menjadikan Cawangan Pengurusan Latihan, Hospital Kuala Lumpur yang mantap, adil dan telus dari segi penyediaan peluang membangunkan tahap kemahiran dan kompetensi semua anggota Hospital Kuala Lumpur.

MISSION / MISI

To develop the performance of HKL human resource towards service excellence through training suitable with the organization needs .

Membangunkan prestasi sumber manusia Hospital Kuala Lumpur menuju kea rah kecemerlangan dalam perkhidmatan melalui latihan bersesuaian dengan keperluan organisasi.

OBJECTIVE / OBJEKTIF

To help HKLs Staff secure the opportunity to participate in training/ workshop/ conference locally/ abroad in the effort to improve the organization as well as their own skills and competencies.

Membantu anggota Hospital Kuala Lumpur memperolehi peluang-peluang mengikuti latihan / bengkel / konferens samada di peringkat dalaman / dalam negara / luar negara dalam usaha mempertingkatkan kemahiran dan kompetensi diri dan organisasi.



ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Training Management Branch serves as the coordinator for the Management of Training in Hospital Kuala Lumpur. The main focus is the Training Management Branch manages a number of core courses that involve all the competent services of Hospital Kuala Lumpur.

Cawangan Pengurusan Latihan berfungsi sebagai penyelaras bagi Pengurusan Latihan di Hospital Kuala Lumpur. Tumpuan utama adalah cawangan ini ialah menguruskan beberapa kursus teras yang melibatkan semua perkhidmatan yang cekap Hospital Kuala Lumpur.

Among the Training Management Branch's core businesses are as follows:

1. Manage and implement of induction courses for selected categories of staffs.
Menguruskan dan melaksanakan Program Transformasi Minda bagi kategori anggota yang terpilih.

2. Regulating the in-service training.
Mengawalselia penganjuran Latihan Dalam Perkhidmatan.

3. Manages industrial training to university / college degree and diploma.
Menguruskan permohonan latihamal oleh Institusi Pengajian Tinggi Awam dan Swasta.

4. Manages the application to pursue graduate and Post Basic for members of the Kuala Lumpur Hospital. and
Menguruskan permohonan untuk melanjutkan ijazah dan Pos Basik untuk ahli-ahli Hospital Kuala Lumpur. dan

5. Manages the approval of overseas courses, conferences and other relevant.
Menguruskan permohonan kelulusan untuk menghadiri kursus, konferens dan altiviti berkaitan latihan.

RESEARCH/TRAINING

Effective way in handling training will deliver a successful and further increase the development level of the attitude, skills and knowledge of the HKL staff.

Pengendalian latihan yang berkesan akan berjaya meningkatkan lagi perkembangan sikap (attitude), kemahiran (skills) dan pengetahuan (knowledge) anggota HKL.

Upon completion of the course, heads of departments who send their members to attend courses required to assess the effectiveness of the programs that have been passed by their men through a special questionnaire. This questionnaire will measure the progress of performance, quality of work and productivity members attending the course.

Setelah tamat satu bulan kursus, ketua-ketua jabatan yang menghantar anggota mereka menghadiri kursus diminta untuk menilai keberkesanan kursus yang telah dilalui oleh anggota bawahan mereka melalui satu soal selidik khas. Soal selidik ini akan mengukur kemajuan prestasi, mutu kerja dan produktiviti anggota menghadiri kursus.

Ongoing monitoring carried out to identify the areas of appropriate training and should be focused on improving the quality of service delivery system of the HKL.

Pemantauan secara berterusan dijalankan bagi mengenalpasti bidang-bidang latihan yang sesuai dan perlu diberi penekanan bagi meningkatkan lagi mutu penyampaian perkhidmatan (service delivery system) anggota HKL.
